The All is Bright Festival


The businesses of 124 Street and High Street invite you to our annual light up festival, a unique event that celebrates the coming of the winter season in Edmonton and lighting up the night through illumination, fun, and live entertainment to patrons of all ages. 


Join us for the main attraction! The Light Up The Night Ceremony takes place at 6PM. Join us as we countdown to the official turning on and unveiling of the holiday lights in the area!






Getting Here

The event will be centered on 124 Street between Jasper Avenue and 102 Avenue, but will also stretch throughout the High Street and 124 Street district.

Give'EmHellBoys | All is Bright

Musical Performances by:

Mitchmatic, The AwesomeHots, The Give ‘Em Hell Boys, DJ Polyesterday and DJ Joses Martin, The All is Bright House Band, featuring Rueben deGroot, Luther Wright and the Wrongs, and Special Guests!

Outdoor Activities, Including:

Light installations, Situation Brewing beverage gardens, Edmonton Digital Arts College digital alchemy alley, sleigh rides, Edmonton's Child Magazine children’s activity area, street hockey, winter activity demo area, fire & light dancers, light up ice sculptures, fire pits & s’mores, food trucks, River Valley Adventure Company Segways, Axe Hole Axe ThrowingEdmonton RickshawsOdd-Lot Puppetry Co, maple taffy making, cookie decorating, contests, and so much more!

    • Photos with Santa
  • Prettiest Present (High Street)
    • Wreath decorating workshops from 4pm - 8pm.  $40 + GST for a small wreath or $60 + GST for a large wreath (includes all materials).  Space is limited and is first come first serve (10 ppl per seating).
  • Heart of the Home (High Street)
    • Sampling mulled wine and offering a gift with purchase plus giveaways in-store
  • Fox & Tux (High Street)
    • Fox & Tux will have 'Paws in Need' in-store and will be giving out samples of treats to pets
  • Starbucks (High Street)
    • Patio Open and giving out free coffee and tea
  • Carbon Boutique
    • Chocolate Wonderland
  • The Tea Girl
    • Hosting live performances from the Dominelli School of Music from 4-5pm and from 7-8pm
  • Tiramisu Café
    • Hosting Edmonton Public Library - Woodcroft (Westmount) Branch with “Stories and Songs with Shadow” puppet shows & shadow box performances from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Check their website to see the festive food specials they're preparing for you to either enjoy indoors, or outdoors on their winter patio!
  • Robertson-Wesley United Church
    • Lantern making crafts from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Made Local Society
    • Bring a small project to work on, or buy supplies to start a new knitting or crochet project, relax and visit with friends and neighbours as we craft together. Drop in any time from 4 pm - 9 pm.
  • Flirt Lashes
    • Spin the wheel for lash cash, draw to win free lashes, $5 threading, selective beauty products and strip lashes specials, hot chocolate and small snacks
  • Henry's Purveyor of Fine Things
    • Receive a gift (retail value: $59.00) with any purchase over $75.  *while supplies last, no cash value.

    • Giving away 40 watches to the first 40 customers valued at $39 (your choice of black, red or yellow) starting at 4pm. PLUS 25% off of everything in the store all day.
