Join the “support-a-store in the 1-2-4 Street” campaign!
We’reĀ spearheading a new initiative to foster crossover business traffic amongst the clients of our BIA businesses.
The goal is to encourage our customers to make purchases from multiple BIA members by encouraging our members to offer a discount/promotion of some kind to the customers of other BIA members. Here’s how it works:
- Customer makes a purchase Ā from a business that belongs to the 124 Street BIA.
- The same day, the customer brings their receipt/proof of purchase to your business.They show you their receipt and you offer them some kind of exclusive discount/promotion.
Participation is entirely optional, and you get to decide the terms and conditions of the discount/promotion.Ā For example, a member might choose to offer a:
- $$$ discount on a specific product or service
- % discount on particular product line
We ask that you agree to honour this offer from February 15 ā February 28, 2021, and to promote this campaign through your existing marketing efforts.

This campaign starts on February 15, 2021, and will run until February 28, 2021, although if it proves to be popular, it might be extended longer.
As a business owner, you are of course free to extend any discounts you like to your customers.
No, there’s no minimum discount that you have to offer in order to participate in this campaign. Choose something that makes sense for your business: $5 off a haircut, 5% off take-out food, 10% off orders over $100. The idea is to encourage our customers to make more purchases from each other.
Once we have enough members signed up to offer discounts, we’ll officially launch the “support-a-store in the 1-2-4” campaign by publicizing it through our web site, e-mail newsletter, social media and traditional media contacts.
You should also promote the campaign, and your participation in it, via your own web site, social media, and other marketing channels.
If you have to, but it would be better if you would commit to providing the same offer until the end of the campaign, February 28, 2021.
